EC operational ground network is comprised of,

• RADAR: vertical profile of C-band radar reflectivity (10 min time resolution).
• CLDOBS: cloud amount base height and type (hourly), and precipitation type and amount (hourly and daily).
• POSS: precipitation occurrence, type and particle size distribution (1 minute time resolution) at selected enhanced sites.
